MettaCar is a small, independent site for people who buy, own, fix and drive enthusiast cars. It has two parts: free tools and car pages, and one paid report per car generation.
We're not a dealer, an insurer or a parts seller, and we're not affiliated with any carmaker.
How we work
- Every fact has a source. The report's footnotes take you to it, so you can check anything yourself.
- A car expert reviews every report before it goes on sale.
- Where the evidence is thin, we say so, instead of guessing or picking a side.
What's free and what's paid
The tools and car pages are free. Car pages show what changed each year and every recall, with sources. The paid report ($20, one-time) is the full buyer and owner guide: what fails and what it costs, where it rusts, a printable inspection, and what to fix first.
About AI
We use AI to help with the research and the first draft. We're telling you because you'd want to know. The sources and the expert review are there to catch its mistakes.
